Hi, It’s Milana!

I attend Crescendo Conservatory of the Arts, where I am taking violin lessons. So far, it has been really exciting picking up the instrument again and I’m looking forward to advancing my skills and learning some specific songs I’ve had on my list. I'd love it if you would support me by making a donation. Watch the video below of our director, Kybra Minisee, to learn more.

As the holidays approach and the end-of-year festivities begin, I'd like to invite you to support my school, Crescendo Conservatory, by making a tax-deductible contribution through Love Notes Alliance, our 501(c)3 partner organization. Love Notes Alliance supports organizations and institutions to provide students with equal access to music education and to provide premium musical enrichment experiences. Previously, this has included student scholarships, instrument give-a-ways, professional recording opportunities, music camps, and tickets to attend local symphony performances. Check out our YouTube channel to see some of the videos we’ve made over the years.

Take a look at my bio & learn some fun facts about me!

At the tender age of three, Milana voiced her desire to play the violin, and at four years of age she began her journey with Kybra. With adept and nimble fingers and a precise auditory acumen, she learned to play the violin and progressed very quickly. After a few years, she decided to take piano lessons. For the past four years she has excelled with the piano, earning an Honorary Mention each year she competed at the Inland Empire Music Festival. Concurrently, Milana plays in the orchestra at her church and enjoys playing violin with her fellow peers as well. Also, after successfully completing the Pathfinder program at church, she is currently training to become a Master Guide and is chosen by her peers each year to be their captain.

Aside from music, Milana is an accomplished entrepreneur. She began her crochet business at the age of 9 and she has created beautiful baby blankets, sports team blankets, scarves, and hats for numerous clients. Drawing and painting are other hobbies that gives her great satisfaction and allows her to express her creativity. Writing stories and curling up with a good book on the couch on a rainy day is her idea of a relaxing afternoon. Although she is not opposed to spending time with friends, ice skating, hiking, swimming, playing volleyball, or traveling as well. Milana loves the Lord and is well-versed in the Bible and she demonstrates those principles by serving her community at food pantries, health fairs, grocery giveaways, and mission trips.

As a homeschooler, Milana has had the opportunity to travel with her family to almost 40 states, visiting over 170 National Parks and Monuments since 2013, and walking where her ancestor and other historical figures walked. She has traveled with her family internationally as well to Mexico, Canada, Puerto Rico, England, Germany, France, Spain, and Italy, visiting many sites that brought history to life. These are experiences that she will never forget! Also, learning different languages is a self-imposed challenge that gives her great joy. Currently, she speaks, writes, or sings in Spanish, German, and Russian. Milana gives God all the glory for everything that she has been able to accomplish, and the best is yet to come.
