Kybra Tutt Minisee

Kybra Tutt Minisee began studying the Suzuki Violin Method at the age of three. For thirteen years Kybra’s classical foundation was solidified through private lessons and playing in several area orchestras including the Pasadena Youth Symphony. She began teaching private lessons from her own studio by her sophomore year in high school.

Her early accomplishments included winning the National Suzuki Showcase in Los Angeles. With over a decade of professional experience as a program developer, music instructor, and business owner, Kybra brings a unique blend of creativity and strategy to the table. Her educational background includes earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemistry from Oakwood University as well as a Masters of Science Degree, from Alabama A&M University, in Food Science & Technology.

She has worked as a music teacher and Director for various organizations, including Valley Conservatory in Huntsville, AL and most recently Riverside Arts Academy. Fall of 2020, she made the decision to transfer her energy completely to expanding Crescendo Conservatory of the Arts as well as her nonprofit organization Love Notes Alliance.

As an accomplished violinist some of her performances highlights include playing for Colin Powel, Judge Joe Brown, the UNCF, and the Californian Association of Black Lawyers. She has traveled the world, playing as far as Utrecht Holland and Bermuda. In 2017 she had the privilege of traveling to Nairobi, Kenya and participating in an unique cultural exchange — sharing hope with the native women fleeing sex trafficking as well as performing at area schools.

Kybra has also performed with notable artists covering a range of genres such as Solange, Phil Wickham, Jon Foreman, Israel Houghton, Switchfoot, and RY-X.

Kybra’s greatest passion centers around serving others, whether uplifting them with music, or building self-esteem in her students. She also finds excitement consulting on “Toxin Free Living” and being a mother to one teenage, and two adult children.
