Crescendo to perform for local community event hosted by the Black Collective. The Black Collective is a grass roots non profit organization that serve Riverside & the Inland Empire. This is a Women’s Appreciation Dinner.
Attire: Crescendo Concert Attire - Black dresses (girls), Black suit, white shirt (boys)

Martin Luther King Day Parade
Students to arrive at the stage in the breezeway of the downtown library by 10AM.
Attire: Crescendo Shirts/Sweaters (Green or Black solid button down) & jeans. White tennis shoes.

Performance at Mt. Rubidoux SDA Church
Crescendo will be providing 7 minutes of music during the worship service at Mt. Rubidoux SDA Church for Christmas Eve service
Arrival time: 10:30 AM to tune and rehearse. Service begins at 11:30AM
Christmas Break - No Lessons
We are on break! But we do have a Christmas Eve performance, so don’t forget about violin all together

Crescendo teams up with Power Speaks Louder, a local empowerment organization, to pack lunches for the homeless.

20 - day Playing Challenge
Our very first 20 -day playing challenge!!!
How it works:
Use the progress chart to record the following activities daily:
Listening to current piece 3x/s (1pt). Earn an additional point if they listen to entire book (1pt)
Mastering assigned measures of current piece (1pt) - teachers will instruct how many measures as it vary’s per students level
Reviewing two old songs to keep them fresh (1pt)
Sight Reading for 10 minutes on www.sightreadingfactory.com (1pt)
Bonus points can be received for sharing a piece in your community (must provide video).
